February 23, 2010: Compass Media Networks announces its coverage of NCAA football for the 2010 season, with games including five of the seven conference champions, defending national champion Alabama vs. Penn State on September 11, and the USC home opener against Virginia on the same day, and, on November 27, USC vs. Notre Dame and Penn State vs. Michigan State.

"Our schedule is second to none -- literally the best matchups in America," Compass CEO Peter Kosann tells Radio Ink. "If you are listening to great play-by-play programming, then you are listening to Compass Media Networks."

This is Compass' second year offering NCAA football through a multiyear deal with Learfield Communication that gives Compass first right of refusal on national rights to college games.

Compass also has rights to Sunday NFL games and is set to announce its schedule soon, and NCAA basketball, including the Big Ten Tournament.
