Nashville, TN, November 18, 2024<\/span><\/b> <\/b>\u2014 After a decade of creating unforgettable memories and a loyal fan base, country music legend Tracy Lawrence has announced that he will be stepping aside as the host of the beloved radio show \u201cHonky Tonkin\u2019 with Tracy Lawrence.\u201d Starting in January 2025, the groundbreaking show will be hosted by the nationally syndicated morning show duo \u201cBig D & Bubba,\u201d who are excited to bring their unique energy and passion to the airwaves, expanding \u201cHonky Tonkin\u2019\u201d to even more listeners nationwide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tracy Lawrence\u2019s tenure on \u201cHonky Tonkin\u2019\u201d has been one of incredible success, with his charismatic personality and love for country music making the show a weekly staple for fans across the country. Tracy says, \u201cIt\u2019s been a joy and an honor to spend all these years with listeners, sharing laughs, stories, and great country music with people who have the same love for these songs that I\u2019ve always felt.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Big D & Bubba have been staples of Country Radio since the early 90s and have made many friends along the way. Those friends happen to be some of the greatest country artists of our generation who visit their studio often to talk about their songs, careers, influences, and share hilarious and poignant anecdotes \u2026 all while playing their favorite records, too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Big D & Bubba will bring fresh ideas, new segments, and lively energy to \u201cHonky Tonkin\u2019\u201d\u00a0while staying true to the core that Tracy Lawrence established\u2014celebrating the best in 80s, 90s, and early 2000s country music every week on over 165 radio stations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Honky Tonkin\u2019 with Big D & Bubba will continue to be produced by Silverfish Media and distributed by Compass Media Networks.
