The Big Ten Network announces a multi-year extension with Compass Media Networks for the exclusive national audio rights to the TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament & Discover Big Ten Football Championship game. The agreement expands partnership to now include national audio rights to the Allstate Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, which Compass Media Networks shall broadcast beginning in 2027, marking the first time such contests will be broadcast on national radio & audio platforms.
RYE, NY, August 17, 2026 — The Big Ten Network announces a multi-year extension with Compass Media Networks for the exclusive national audio rights to the TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament and Discover Big Ten Football Championship Game along with the expansion of rights to now include the exclusive rights to broadcast the Allstate Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Compass Media Networks shall continue to produce, broadcast, and market all rounds of the TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament and the Discover Big Ten Football Championship Game across its terrestrial radio network of hundreds of leading sports radio stations, satellite radio, and digital platforms. Compass Media Networks has held these rights since 2010, which coincided with the inaugural Big Ten Football Championship Game. Additionally, Compass Media Networks now adds the exclusive rights to broadcast the Allstate Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, beginning with coverage of the 2027 Championship game scheduled for March 7, 2027.
