Jason Ross Jr. is currently a Play-By-Play Announcer for ESPN, Fox Sports, and Big Ten Network. In addition, he is also one of the voices of the Chicago Sky and previously the TV preseason voice for his hometown NFL team, the Detroit Lions.
A versatile broadcaster, Jason covers many different sports. He calls college football, basketball, and hockey for Big Ten Network, college football and Olympic sports for ESPN, and college basketball for Fox Sports. He also had the opportunity to call Power Lifting in the 2023 Special Olympics in Berlin, Germany, an opportunity that had a great impact on Jason. In January of 2022, Jason made history becoming the first black television play-by-play announcer in Chicago Blackhawks history.
