Jesse Agler

Play-by-Play Announcer for NFL Sundays and College Football

Jesse joined Compass in 2017 as NFL play-by-play announcer. He is also the PxP voice for the San Diego Padres, serving as the primary voice for the radio broadcasts, and calling select games on TV.

Jesse also calls various sports for the Pac-12 Network. Agler joined the Padres front office in February 2014 as director of content, a role in which he oversaw all club digital and social operations, including the integration of content for padres.com and Padres social media accounts. In 2013-2014, Jesse called play-by-play for select college basketball games on ESPN3. Prior to joining the Padres, Jesse has been the pregame, halftime and post-game host on the Dolphins Radio Network. He has also called select preseason radio games for the network. In 2013, he did the play-by-play for the team’s television preseason games on CBS-4.

In addition to his gameday duties, he is the host of “The Finsiders,” which is the team’s daily multimedia talk show, airing on 940-WINZ, Dolphins.com and FOX Sports Florida. He is also the host of the TV show “Finsiders Final Drive,” which airs weekly on FOX Sports Florida and locally on the NFL Network. Agler began his professional career in 2005 and has hosted several radio shows in the South Florida market. He has also been a pregame, halftime and postgame radio host for the then-Florida Marlins, the Florida Panthers, and the Miami Hurricanes, working both football and basketball for the ‘Canes.

A South Florida native and graduate of the University of Miami, he now resides in San Diego.
